The Challenge: The company needed to hire a senior level accounting professional as well as an Accounting Clerk for their growing construction organization. It was important that these professionals had a strong understanding of cost accounting and had experience using QuickBooks.

What Set this Search Apart: In addition to finding candidates with the proper skill set, a strong cultural fit was extremely important to the client. At the beginning of the search, the client wasn’t sure what level senior accounting professional was needed.

The Approach: We started by targeting Senior Accountants and Assistant Controllers with the required experience. After presenting initial candidates to the client, we learned that we needed to target Assistant Controllers or Controllers for the senior role.

The Results: Risch Results recruited a seasoned Assistant Controller who had just relocated to Texas from Arkansas. She had experience working in public accounting as well as owning and running her own business. Risch Results also recruited an Accounting Clerk who had previously worked in the construction and manufacturing industries.
