The Challenge: The Client needed to fill three HR positions at once. They have a presence in San Francisco as well as Dallas. We were hiring for the Dallas office, but the decision makers and interview team were located in San Francisco. All initial interviews were virtual, and the HR Executives came in town to Dallas for final interviews. We faced the most challenges with the Senior Payroll Manager position because of the depth of payroll and financial knowledge that was required.

What Set this Search Apart: The Company needed to hire three HR professionals for their growing business: Human Resources Business Partner, Senior Manager of Benefits and a Senior Payroll Manager. A cultural match and personality fit with their organization was one of the most important factors in this search.

The Approach: Two Risch Results recruiters worked on the placements. Since we were searching for candidates for three different positions, we organized weekly meetings with the hiring team to co-present and review candidates.

The Results: All three positions were filled within two months. In fact, the Senior Manager of Benefits was filled within just a couple weeks. An HR professional with 20 years of experience was hired for the Senior Payroll Manager position. The candidate actually started her career in accounting which gave her exceptional skills for the position and the depth of experience needed. The Human Resource Business Partner role was filled with a candidate with 10+ years’ experience as an HR advisor.
